Splatter Nail Art With Zoya Tomoko & Stevie

Hi guys how's everyone's Tuesday? I had some free time over the weekend and was messing around with my header and format, what do you guys think?
I have some nail art today using a couple Zoya pixiedust polishes, you guys heard me raving about them last week! I took my 2 favorites, Tomoko and Stevie, and decided to do some splatter nail art! It's not something I do often, because it's so abstract and I have so little control over the design, I don't really like doing splatter nails. The past couple times I've tried it my nails have just come out awful lol. Please keep reading to see more!

Zoya Pixiedust Polishes

Hey hey hey! What's up everybody? Weekend plans anyone? I have absolutely NOTHING it's gonna be great! Just a couple days for some physics work, some quality bonding time with Netflix, and of course nail polish!
I have an awesome post for today. Zoya had their awesome Earth day exchange a couple weeks ago and my 6 new Zoya polishes finally showed up! I took the chance and bought 6 of their pixiedust polishes. I've heard great things about them, and they have fantastic colors, they're so great! I've been a little slow to the texture trend, I'm only really just getting into them now. I think these pixiedusts are really going to help!
I have all 6 Zoya's swatched today, keep reading!

Pink Easter Skittle

Hey hey and happy Easter everyone! I just got back from spring break in California/Oregon...it was *awesooome!* I don't think I'm ready to start school again tomorrow :((
I have a quick post today with a skittle mani I did for Easter.
On my pinky is Francesca's-Bridesmaid with a coat of China Glaze-Fairy Dust on top. The ring finger is Zoya-Lux, the middle and index fingers have OPI-Chic From Ears To Toe with OPI-Solitaire for the dots, and the thumb is OPI-Solitaire on its own.
There I said it would be quick right? Thanks all of you for reading and have a wonderful Easter Sunday!

Red & Pink Roses

Hey guys! So I'm like 4 days late with this post, but I have nails for the first day of spring! I don't know about you, but it's been a ROUGH winter for us New Jersyians, and I'm glad it's finally over. Like, I need some warm weather, time to break out the wedges, the tank tops, the cuts pastel jackets, you hear me right?
For my lovely springtime mani I brought back my roses nail design I did for the nailartfeb challenge last month. (I told you I'd be doing them again:P) I used a different color scheme this time and opted for red and pink.

Nova Polishes!!

Hi everybody! I hope everyone who celebrated had an awesome Christmas! I've got 3 great polishes to share with you today. They might seem a little random...one China Glaze, one Formula X by Sephora, and a Zoya. One's a texture, one of them is holographic glitter, and one of them is glitter in a jelly base...What do these all have in common, you may ask?

OPI-Honey Ryder

Hello people of middle earth! Today was my last day of school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hello summer! Summer=sleep, nail polish, nail art, Buffy, Firefly, band camp, sock monkeys, bracelets, and any other fun crafts that I find myself interested in! So excited!!
Today's polish is one of those new textured polishes that is SWEEPING the nail polish land. I'm pretty sure OPI, China Glaze, Zoya, Orly, and at least on other brand that I can't remember right now has a line of textured polishes. Essie is the only big brand I can think of that hasn't caught on yet. We'll just have to wait and see...
This polish is from OPI's bond girls collection (and it's based on the one bond girl in the collection that I actually know!) OPI-Honey Ryder.

I picked up Honey Ryder at this years spring fling, along with Solitaire, so I'll be posting that sometime soon. Those are the only two textured polishes I own, and I really want to get my hands on some more, maybe some more colorful ones, because they are AWESOME!
Honey Ryder is a gold textures polish, with lot's of gold sparkle! It's awesome. It dries all matte and gritty, although it is smoother than I expected. I guess it can't be too gritty otherwise it would be catching on things. That would be annoying
The formula was beautiful, it applied just like a regular polish. It dried nice and fast and only needed two coats. You're (obviously) not supposed to wear a top coat with these sorts of polishes, so I don't know how long it lasts. I was going to take top coat pictures so you guys could see how HR looked with top coat, all glossy and smooth and stuff. But I forgot :-/
OPI polishes tend to cost around the $8 mark, and you can find them in drug/beauty stores like CVS, Walgreens, Harmon's, etc.

The original Honey Ryder :P She's from the very first James Bond movie, Dr.No. The really old James Bond movies with Sean Connery. Yeah. That old. I know nobody remembers those early movies but they weren't half bad! And I really liked Honey Ryder too. Before she got all evil. :(
That's all for today everyone!
